This is not just another "ghost" bucket as other retailers have. I specifically searched out a bucket that did not have the red markings for a more "pure" and completely transparent look and also one that had a larger base so my Detail Guardz Dirt Lock would not get wedged in the bottom. I literally paid $100 to get a sample of this bucket originally ... yeah I was that determined.
This bucket is completely transparent and holds up to 18 quarts of liquid. The fill markings on the side of the bucket are transparent as well, but still visible so you can measure your dilutions correctly. I use this as my main wash bucket for rinseless washes with the big red sponge and two of them for my multi mitt full car washes. It is made of poly carbonate and I have used it for over a year now putting it through abuse as much more than a nice aesthetic detailing bucket and it has held up great.
