This is the best grit guard available. I have done more testing than I think anyone else ever comparing grit guards and have an hour long video breaking down how they work and why this one is the best. The venturi effect created by the unique vent design helps keep large contaminants in the bottom of the bucket and off your mitt. It does not keep everything small down, but it does a much better job that it's competition. I use this for rinseless washes with the big red sponge or some microfiber mitts depending on how dirty the car is. It fits in any regular bucket and has tabs on the feet that can be removed to help fit into smaller buckets. I do not sell the black color because it make sit difficult to see any contaminants on the guard you would want to wash off after use.
It fits perfectly into the base of my PURE Detailing Bucket and you will have no issue with it getting wedged like in some other buckets.
